Throat chakra energy |

Sometimes one line in the palm is more intensely red than the other lines. Each line has its own story. Especially interesting and revealing is the line where the thumb meets the hand.This line (and small area around it) relates to throat energy and how you use it in life. Later I'll go into more detail how this works. First it is important to determine if there is an imbalance in throat energy by determining if the line is really red.
An exampleOne time I was doing Hand Analysis at an arts and craft show in northern California where a woman asked to have her hands read who was close to 60 years old. What was immediately different about her was that she had an area on each hand, at the base of the thumb, that she said was eczema. (Eczema: A skin condition that is generally dry, hot and itchy, whilst in more severe forms the skin can become broken, raw and bleeding.) I questioned her about her overall health and she said she also had TMJ (Temporo-Mandibular Joint problems. Symptoms: Ear pain, Sore jaw muscles, Temple/cheek pain, Jaw popping/clicking, Locking of the jaw, Difficulty in opening the mouth fully, Frequent head/neck aches). Additionally she said she had frequent neck and throat problems. These symptoms were so clear to me that I could hardly contain myself from telling her immediately what these all indicated. I studied her hands for a few seconds and focused in on her thumbs, especially the lower joint area. When I put a light pressure on her thumb end to bend it back slightly there was a bloody red coloring that filled the line at the base of the thumb. I knew immediately what her problem was but did not reveal it right then. I continued to talk about her general physical condition and listened "between the lines" about how unhappy her life was. At one point she said, "The doctors don't know what is wrong with me." I couldn't contain myself any longer and said, "Your only problem is that you have not said to somebody near you what needs to be said, and what you have to say is how angry you are!" She made a big audible gasp and said, "I'm married to a man, who if I say the wrong thing, he gets mad, so I never say anything!" What a revelation as to the cause of her physical problems: Years of suppressed anger had festered up in her throat chakra both at her neck, throat and jaw, as well as at the base of her thumb! I explained to her how this all tied together and tried to motivate her to get some therapy for her anger release so her body could heal. I was very pleased with the results of that Hand Analysis as a diagnostic tool! The chakra concept
The chakras in the etheric body are concentrated centers for specific types of energy. These energies are the driving power for the physical body. When these energies are disturbed or out of balance, the body suffers with physical problems. Without these energy vortices, the physical body dies. Some individuals with strong powers of concentration can go into an altered state of consciousness and see the chakras as rotating disks of colored energy. To test for true redness in this line, put a little pressure on the thumb to bend it backwards. If bright red shows up in this line, that surely indicates there is excess energy stored in the throat and neck. Usually the held-in energy is angry words withheld inside and unspoken. A person with this bright red line seldom expresses angry words and emotions. Instead of speaking out when upset and angry, the words and emotions are choked back and not released from the throat and mouth area. This person probably has throat, neck and jaw problems if the redness (and angry words) have been there a long time. 
The chakra concept states that there are seven major wheel-like energy centers where the life energy resides to keep the body alive. These centers are called "chakras". The word chakra means "wheel" in Sanskrit. The chakras are part of the "etheric body". The etheric body is one of several invisible energy bodies overlaid onto the physical body to provide the life forces to live.
